We educate over 5,500 pupils aged 3–19 across seven schools and employ more than 650 staff. Due to the retirement of our current Chief Executive Officer, we are now seeking an exceptional leader to guide the next stage of development for our growing multi‑academy trust.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership across the Trust and work closely with the Board to deliver our vision, strengthen culture and ensure schools continue to improve.
* Place the quality of education at the centre of decision‑making and support leaders and staff to perform at their best, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and care.
* Act as Accounting Officer, ensuring strong financial stewardship, effective use of resources, compliance, sustainability and value for money.
* Oversee safeguarding, risk management and delivery of the Trust’s strategic plan, and play a key role in developing governance.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders at local, regional and national levels.
* Serve as an ambassador for the Trust, communicating with confidence and integrity and engaging staff, pupils, families and partners.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong senior leadership track record, ideally within education.
* Strategic thinker with sound financial acumen and experience leading complex organisations.
* Committed to developing people, building partnerships and driving high standards.
* Values‑driven, resilient and forward‑thinking; champion equality, safeguard pupils and ensure the Trust makes a meaningful difference to communities.
