We are currently seeking experienced and physically fit 7.5 Tonne (C1) Drivers for a key client in the Brighton area. This role involves significant manual handling and is perfect for a driver who isn’t afraid of a hard day’s work.
The Role:
1. Location: Brighton & Surrounding Areas
2. Vehicle: 7.5 Tonne
3. Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM starts
4. Work Type: Temporary assignments with a strong potential for temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Safe and efficient driving of a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
6. Substantial manual labour, including heavy lifting as a core part of the daily routine.
7. Multi-drop delivery work.
8. Completing all necessary paperwork and ensuring digital tachograph compliance.
9. Providing excellent customer service on behalf of our client.

What We Require (Essential):
15. Valid UK Licence with Category C1 Entitlement (held for min. 12 months, no more than 6 points).
16. Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
17. Proof of Right to work in the UK (Passport or Birth Certificate with NI).
18. Must be physically fit and able to handle heavy, manual lifting.
19. No DR, DG, or TT endorsements.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:
20. Reliable with a strong, hard-working ethic.
21. Previous experience with manual handling and heavy lifting.
22. Previous 7.5t driving experience (pallet network, curtain-sider, multi-drop).
23. Fully equipped with safety boots, gloves, and Hi-Vis clothing.
24. HGV Satnav.
