The school look after a wide range of special needs & disabilities aged 4-19 ,the predominant need of the students is complex learning needs, which include Autism, ADHD and Behavioural. The school are looking for strong support staff to join them on a full-time basis. There is also an opportunity to join them on a supply basis, which is completely flexible work to manage around your schedule. Position Details: Role: SEND Learning Support Assistant (Pri/Sec) Start Date: September Location: BS13 Contract: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Assist the teacher to plan, prepare, and deliver fun and engaging classes. Help provide a nurturing and supportive classroom environment. Support the class teacher wherever necessary, providing regular feedback Collaborate with LSA's, parents, and external stakeholders to promote student welfare and achievement. Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events. Requirements: Ideally experience working in a special school Experience working with SEND Strong understanding of the needs of children with SEND Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
