We are recruiting across all levels:
* Building Control Manager - Circa up to £59k* + 10% Recruitment Payment
* Principal Building Control Surveyor - Circa up to £57k* + 10% Recruitment Payment
* Senior Building Control Surveyor - Circa up to £51k* + 10% Recruitment Payment
* Building Control Surveyor - Circa up to £46k* + 10% Recruitment Payment
What You’ll Do:
Depending on the role level, your responsibilities may include:
* Conducting site inspections and assessing plans for compliance with Building Regulations.
* Managing complex or high-risk developments and leading on enforcement actions.
* Mentoring and developing junior surveyors.
* Leading large-scale projects and investigations (Principal level).
* Managing and developing a team of surveyors and overseeing operational performance (Manager level).
* Supporting innovation, policy development and service transformation.
What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking people who are:
* Qualified to Class 2a or above with the Building Safety Regulator (or working towards).
* Skilled in interpreting and applying Building Regulations and associated legislation.
* Excellent communicators with the ability to advise a range of stakeholders.
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
* Strong team players with leadership experience (for Principal and Manager roles).
* Passionate about safety, sustainability and high-quality building control.
