Working Hours & Benefits Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 Friday: 08:30 – 13:30 Flexible and hybrid working options availableBenefits include: 25 days holiday 9 statutory bank holidays Stakeholder pension scheme (up to 10% employer contribution) Life Assurance (4x salary) Permanent Health Insurance Private Health Insurance Free Onsite Parking Subsidised Canteen Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Discounts across 100’s of UK retailers Discounted gym membershipKey Responsibilities Take the lead in promoting and implementing DENSO’s HSE policies and standards across site Work with HR and management teams to embed a culture of safety and continuous improvement Identify potential HSE risks and support mitigation planning Develop and maintain systems aligned with ISO 14001 / 45001 standards Drive internal compliance through risk assessments, inspections, and audits Train, coach, and mentor managers and associates to take ownership of HSE practices Chair monthly HSE performance reviews and report KPIs to the Senior Team Communicate with UK authorities and the wider DENSO Group on all HSE incidents and activities Lead the approval and oversight of contractors and ensure statutory inspections are completed Maintain HSE documentation, including COSHH assessments and civil claims administration Support site and group-wide HSE initiatives, occasionally requiring travel to other locationsCandidate Requirements NEBOSH Certificate and membership of IOSH (essential). Strong working knowledge of HSE legislation and ISO 14001 / 45001. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Sound understanding of machinery safety, LEV testing, atmospheric and noise monitoring, and hazardous waste classification. Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and external regulatory systems.
