The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Associate to join a highly regarded and growing accountancy practice in Edinburgh.
This role would suit an ambitious individual currently studying ACCA (or equivalent) who is looking to continue developing their career within a collaborative and supportive professional environment.
As part of a friendly and forward-thinking team, you will support a varied client portfolio across accounts preparation, bookkeeping and cloud-based accounting services. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure within a modern practice environment that embraces digital accounting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of annual statutory accounts
* Production of management accounts
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Bookkeeping and financial processing duties
* Working with cloud accounting software including Xero
* Supporting a varied portfolio of SME clients
* Building strong working relationships internally and externally
* Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment
About You
* Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
* Currently studying ACCA or equivalent
* Experience using Xero and cloud-based accounting software
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Positive and collaborative approach
* Keen to continue learning and developing professionally
