Support Worker - Hedgerows Residential Service
Role Responsibility
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team at Hedgerows residential service in Staplehurst.
Hedgerows offers short break stays for up to four people, providing them and their caregivers a well-deserved break.
This role is rewarding and involves working with different individuals, as each stay at Hedgerows is unique.
The position requires shift work, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and nights. This is a part-time role.
The annual salary ranges from £26,393 to £27,713 (pro rata), with enhancements for bank holidays, a sleep-in allowance of £40.76, and potential overtime pay, which can increase the basic salary. For example, one sleep-in duty per week could add over £2,000 annually.
Additional benefits include Kent Rewards (such as Childcare Vouchers, Cycle to Work, and high street discounts), a 10% discount at Adult Education, and an annual leave entitlement of 27 days pro rata plus bank holidays.
This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
As a customer-facing role, it requires proficiency in spoken English/Welsh, in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016), as detailed in the Job Description/Person Specification.
