I am lucky enough to be partnered with a well know brand in the consumer goods industry and they have asked me to search for a qualified and experienced HSE Co-ordinator to join a busy and growing team as this business due to massive investment is a site and business that is growing
What you will be doing:
Supporting the HSE department to effectively implement and develop the Health and Safety systems
Investigate accidents as part of a team to identify root cause
Conduct risk assessments and assist departments to implement safe working practices across departments
Conducting safety induction for new starters and external contractors
Source, liaise and book, safety training from external providers
Support the compliance and audits as and when they happen
Ensure all documentation is up to date and maintained.
Ensure all site waste is being disposed of as per Environmental legislation
PPE stock control and administrate the issuing where it’s neededSkills Experience
NEBOSH General certificate (or working towards)
Proven experience of working in a H&S role
A working knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001
Some experience of auditing is desirable
Excellent communicator at all levels both verbally and written
Strong IT Skills
Able to work autonomously and pro-actively
Organised and able to work under pressure
