Location: Hedge End, Southampton
Employment Type: Full Time – Permanent
Remuneration: Based on Experience, Salary + Commission (OTE £50k–£60k)

The Role:
As an experienced Kitchen Sales Designer, you’ll take ownership of projects from first enquiry to final handover, combining creativity, commercial drive and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome customers to the showroom and guide them through the design journey
* Conduct home visits and client consultations
* Create bespoke kitchen designs using CAD software
* Prepare accurate quotes and present proposals confidently
* Handle objections, negotiate and close sales professionally
* Collaborate with the installation team for seamless handovers
* Contribute ideas to improve showroom processes and customer experience
What we're looking for:
* A commercially-minded, results-focused approach — you’ll understand the importance of balancing design creativity with hitting commercial targets.
* Sales tenacity and resilience — you bounce back from setbacks, follow up diligently, and don’t give up easily.
* A natural flair for numbers — able to quickly assess margins, calculate estimates, and manage profitability with confidence.
* A driven mindset with a desire to grow, take ownership and continually improve your design, sales and client engagement skills
* A positive, self-motivated attitude with a passion for learning and improvement
* Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to follow customer briefs precisely
* A friendly, professional and empathetic manner — no pushy sales tactics here
* A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to hit the ground running
* Willingness to work Saturdays (with a weekday off in lieu) and occasional evenings to suit client needs
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage paid)
