ABOUT THE POSITION
For this newly created Group M&A Integration Manager role you will report directly to the Group CFO and will be responsible for driving the systematic, on time and on budget integration of past and newly acquired companies so that they operate on the Group’s core systems and business processes.
You will play a key role in pre-close due diligence, Day 1 and 100-day planning, synergy tracking, change management, and stakeholder communications. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing governance and reporting, and continually refining the integration playbook and functional best practice guides.
This is a high-profile appointment, and you will chair weekly Integration meetings (with Divisional MDs), input into the monthly Board pack and will be expected to present and feedback to investors.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
For this Group M&A Integration Manager in the South Midlands/ Southwest region the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate skills in the following areas –
* Experience leading post-merger integrations and delivering significant synergy targets
* Ideally you will have a formal change management and/ or project management qualification
* Experience in a B2B environment and relevant sector, e.g. professional services, environmental services, or facilities management
* Exposure to private equity backed businesses & PE portfolio governance and reporting
* Deep practical knowledge of HR/TUPE, IT carve out, and data migration
* High financial literacy to translate synergy assumptions into P&L and cashflow impact
* The ability to influence Divisional MDs and functional heads and being comfortable presenting to investors
Must be willing to travel to acquisition sites across the UK (30%) and with weekly/ bi-weekly travel to the HQ in the South Midlands/Southwest region

£90-110,000 Basic Salary + Car (or allowance) + Bonus and Other Benefits
