Overview
This is a part-time role for a Community Engagement Officer located in Harrogate. The Community Engagement Officer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including engaging with the community, communicating effectively with stakeholders, managing projects, and fostering relationships. The role also involves designing and implementing programmes that align with our mission to improve quality of life and build stronger communities. This role will involve working across our Premier League Kicks, Pitch Positive and Talk of The Town programmes.

Qualifications
* FA Emergency First Aid and/or First Aid at Work* (Essential)
* FA Level 1 Coaching Qualification (Desirable)
* FA Level 2 Coaching Qualification (Desirable)
* Other NGB Level 2 Qualification (Desirable)
Can be achieved after appointment in role*
Experience
* Previous community-based experience and/or working with children and young people in community and/or youth work settings.
* Ability to be flexible with delivery times as the role will require working evenings and possibly weekends.
* Experience of planning and leading sports activities for children and young people.
* Experience of working with vulnerable and older people in community settings.
* Ability to develop relationships with people from disengaged communities and provide a positive experience for all.
* A 'can do' attitude with evidence of leadership skills with a proven ability to support and motivate others to reach their full potential.
