Administrator - Customer Service / Transport

Salary: £26,000-£28,000
Hours: Full-time, Mon-Fri, Permanent

The Role:
As an Administrator, you'll support the smooth running of the Customer Service and Transport departments. You'll be the first point of contact for incoming calls, provide updates to customers, and ensure all administration is handled accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Handling incoming telephone enquiries and directing queries appropriately
Liaising with drivers, internal teams, and customers to ensure transport operations run smoothly
Booking jobs, contacting customers, and accurately entering details onto internal systems
Checking and scanning delivery notes and processing paperwork in line with company procedures
Providing timely updates to customers on delivery schedules and resolving issues when required
Supporting with filing, data entry, photocopying, and other general administrative tasks What You'll Bring
Previous administration experience, ideally within a transport, logistics, or customer service environment
Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively
Keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office What's on Offer

Type: Temporary to Permanent contract
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
