The project: Be a part of our consultancy procurement and supply chain business that spans our five global hubs, where you can lead and oversee work for world leading organisations across the public and private sectors. We provide our clients with real value by providing detailed procurement advice across a range of subject matters, in a range of ways. The team works in collaboration with our clients across multiple sectors to implement innovative and best practice procurement, Category Management and supply chain solutions supported by the key principles of responsible / ethical procurement practices, service excellence tools and supply chain modelling / engagement. This opportunity will be initially supporting a major infrastructure project in Suffolk and will require weekly visits to the project offices on site. Our values shape the way we consult, and define the people we want to join us on our journey, they are: · Safety first - Going home safe and well · Client focus - Deliver on our promise · Integrity - Always do the right thing · Create opportunity - For our people to excel You’ll be responsible for: · Assisting in the management and delivery of end-to-end procurement exercises including: · Prequalifying management via standard selection questionnaire process. · Drafting tender documents. · Tendering issuance and management (via approved online portals such as precontract). · Assisting in the management of the evaluation process. · Assisting in the development of procurement strategies if requested. · Client advisory services on procurement and supply chain process and policy. · Providing support and coordination relative to the reporting requirements of the project including various briefing notes as necessary. You’ll need to have: · You have full membership or are studying for the chartered institute of procurement and supply management. · You have a good understanding of public procurement regulations (PCR 2015) and practices including the EU directives. · You have experience with OJEU/the latest find a tender process. · You have good presentational skills and can present complex data in a succinct way. You have experience in the prequalification and tender management process and evaluation. · You will be willing to learn and apply yourself to a process orientated procurement delivery plan.
