Overview
The role of the Business Development Manager is focused on developing high value relationships in new accounts and sectors of the Data Storage market. With an estimated compound growth of 12.5% over the next few years, Enterprise Data Storage present a great opportunity and for an ambitious individual.
Responsibilities
The individual will need to have demonstrable experience developing new B2B accounts in technology-based markets, an excellent understanding channel business and rapidly develop pipeline, progress through optimising propositions to customer and close sales opportunities. Specifically, we are looking for a person that will:
1. Develop new opportunities with new partners
2. Position and present our products and services to new customers in context of their market sector
3. Work at all levels within customer to progress opportunities to success
4. Develop a new sales contacts and pipeline
5. Engage required Internal resource effectively to develop a high value engagement with new customers
6. Optimize proposals, develop sales engagement and close opportunities.
7. Track and effectively report sales progress and maintain accurate detail in CRM
8. Develop specific sales campaign and promotional offers to attract new business customers
9. Engage with customer to provide exceptional customer experience
CANDIDATES PROFILE - REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
10. Knowledge of data storage solutions preferable
11. A highly motivated self-starter who drives to exceed their sales goal each month independently
12. Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
13. Good task prioritisation, time management and organisational skills
14. Agile commercial problem solver and target focused individual
15. Refined competency working collaboratively in a team to meet customer expectations
16. Used to working with CRM tools and excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
17. Ability to create and deliver presentations on-line, social media or in person, tailored to meet audience segment focus
18. The ability to Travel throughout the UK/ NEU Region to attend customer meetings, channel meeting and exhibitions relating to key markets, when required
19. Ability and enthusiasm for knowledge of emerging and ever changing related technologies
