SEN Residential Support Worker - Nights PR2 & PR3, Full-time Waking Nights - 10pm-8am (4 shifts per week) Are you dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with complex needs? Our client, a specialist provider, is seeking a committed a SEN Residential Support Worker and Team Leader to join their caring team. About the Role In this vital position, you'll support young people's night time routines within nurturing residential homes. You’ll implement personalised care plans, promote independence, and enhance social and emotional skills. Your role will involve working closely with young people and the management team to create a safe and supportive night time environment tailored to each individual’s needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 or 2:1 support to young people, including those with challenging behaviours Assist with personal care and morning routine Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs Ensure the safety and well-being of all young residents Support engagement in education and developmental activities Essential Requirements Passion for working with young people with complex needs Patience, empathy, and resilience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Able to work 4 waking nights per week Current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Right to work in the UK Driving Licence Desirable Skills and Experience Previous experience in a children's residential setting (advantageous but not necessary) Benefits Excellent rates of pay with weekly pay No payroll charges Flexibility with staffing shifts, including waking nights and 2:1 support Free online training and subsidised practical training courses Agency Worker of the Month prize (£50) Entry into quarterly prize draw to win £500 Holiday pay, paid weekly or saved in a holiday pot Contributed pension scheme Our client is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
