30.75 hours per week

3 nights a week, 8.45 pm - 7.15 am

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and proactive Care Team Leader to join our dedicated team in a specialist dementia care home. This pivotal role involves leading a team of care staff to deliver exceptional, person-centred care to residents living with dementia, ensuring their dignity, safety, and wellbeing are always prioritised.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead, supervise, and support care staff in delivering high-quality dementia care
2. Ensure care plans are followed, updated, and tailored to individual resident needs
3. Promote a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for residents
4. Act as a role model for best practice in dementia care and safeguarding
5. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
6. Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and contribute to training and development
7. Monitor and maintain compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
8. Respond to emergencies and incidents with professionalism and empathy
9. Support the emotional wellbeing of residents through meaningful engagement and activities

About You:

10. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
11. Proven experience in dementia care, ideally in a leadership role
12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
13. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
14. Calm, patient, and resilient under pressure
15. Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement

Ridgemount in Banstead is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 66 residents. At Anchor, we pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for elderly people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.

16. Ridgemount is located just 2min walking distance from Banstead Town Centre where bus stops are located. Area is nice and quiet. We have on-site parking where staff can park their cars as well
17. We support are colleagues with a process that includes arranging regular and frequent meetings to review their work and to provide development and support along their way climbing up that ladder to better themselves. Staff recognition is important in Ridgemount & rewarded each month for staff members going that extra mile in the workplace with employee of the month schemes
18. We have been awarded Anchor Inspires Award. Staff and Residents have worked together by planning and then implementing the changes to environment
