We are looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker to join our fantastic teams based in Southport. We have 1 x 20-hour post available. It is an essential requirement that you hold a MANUAL driver's license.
Working hours will be on a rota basis, with shifts across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and sleep-ins.
The shift timings are:
* 10am - 10pm & 8am - 10pm
* Sleep-in - 10pm - 7am
What does a Support Worker do?
As a Support Worker, you will provide outstanding support to help individuals live more comfortable, dignified, liberated, and happy lives. You should have excellent communication skills, a caring and patient personality. Typical responsibilities include:
* Supporting independence – managing budgets, paying bills, housework, organizing appointments, and cooking healthy meals.
* Communication and relationship building – supporting individuals to understand the world around them and fostering positive relationships.
* Community & Social Inclusion – helping individuals access and participate in local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
* Personal care – assisting with daily routines, medication, bathing, showering, and bathroom use. Not all roles involve high levels of personal care.
*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
