The role
We are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join the team, to provide excellent, accurate and relevant financial information to customers and work within a wider finance function delivering a range of vital projects for a customers and communities, with this Analyst specialising directly in Orbit's property.
This role is part of Finance where you'll help us to invest more back into communities and design for strength. This is an agile working role based out of our Coventry office.
What you'll achieve
Directly partnering with the business to provide financial analysis and support decision making.
Provide and clearly communicate an understanding of the current financial position and impact on future forecasts to both finance and non finance stakeholders.
Developing and maintaining robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive business improvements and profitability.
Preparing and delivering financial presentations to management and key stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of the 30 year financial plan.
Continuously improve financial processes and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Have an understanding of our operating environment and how it impacts upon Orbit.What you'll bring
Essential skills
Knowledge/qualifications
Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/ICAEW/equivalent).
Appropriate proven experience in a financial position.
Extensive experience of using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint to provide and present business information.
