The role
We are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join the team, to provide excellent, accurate and relevant financial information to customers and work within a wider finance function delivering a range of vital projects for a customers and communities.
This role is part of Finance where you'll help us to invest more back into communities and design for strength. This is an agile working role based out of our Coventry office.
What you'll achieve
Provide financial analysis and support to Business Partners.
Prepare monthly Performance Monitor, month end flash results and co-ordinate Budget and Forecasts.
Use data held within the business and outside to drive insight to improve performance.
Support the Business Partners in preparing presentations and board papers for Senior Management and the Boards.
Support project managers in writing and reviewing business cases, making sure they meet the Group's objectives and ensuring all efficiencies are realised.What you'll bring
Essential skills
Knowledge/qualifications
Qualified or finalist (ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/ICAEW/equivalent).
Appropriate proven experience in a financial position.
Extensive experience of using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint to provide and present business information.Technical and professional skills
Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.Communication
Good literacy skills and the ability to communicate clearly with customers at all levels of organisation.Problem solving and decision-making
Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
