A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small friendly team at the Westwood Lodge Care Home. We are looking for a talented domestic assistant to join our home whom is keen and eager to progress. We are a nursing home supporting adults with mental illness. We pride ourselves in helping people to stay well and live a fulfilling life.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out daily cleaning duties in resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and staff facilities
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control at all times
* Work as part of the wider team to ensure the home is welcoming and well-presented
* Safely use cleaning equipment and materials in line with health & safety guidelines
* Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
About You
* Previous cleaning/domestic experience is desirable but not essential (training provided)
* A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards (training provided)
* Compassion and respect for older people
