Job Title: Operations Manager (Hard FM)
Overview
Within VIVO, we are recruiting for an Operations Manager (Hard FM) based at Brecon Barracks. The role oversees the effective, compliant and timely delivery of maintenance and response works in accordance with statutory legislation and MoD Mandatory requirements, ensuring Health and Safety and Environmental standards are met.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the delivery of maintenance and repair works, ensuring compliance with legislation and MoD requirements.
* Direct qualified operatives to relevant tasks and ensure they possess appropriate equipment.
* Monitor supply chain performance to achieve Key Performance Indicators.
* Review and update Risk Assessments and ensure all tasks are recorded against assets in the CAFM system.
* Oversee progress of works and documentation, ensuring completion and record‑keeping.
* Ensure compliance with Legionella and Asbestos management plans and act as Responsible Person where required.
* Carry out inspections, audits and project‑manage M&E tasks from inception to completion.
Qualifications
* HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Strong IT skills and experience managing multi‑site hard FM subcontractors.
* Experience as Hard FM Manager or works coordinator in a reactive maintenance environment.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Eligibility to pass SC Clearance.
