If you’re looking for a veterinary role where you can continue to grow your clinical skills and pursue your professional interests, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Paisley Vets for Pets. Our modern, purpose-built surgery is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital x-ray and ultrasound equipment. We manage a varied small animal caseload, with particular interests within the team in feline and rabbit medicine. You’ll be joining a friendly, experienced, and supportive team that is passionate about delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients. Our Head Nurse brings more than 30 years of nursing experience, and together we have created a positive and collaborative working environment where everyone is encouraged to develop and thrive.
The practice has been designed to support high clinical standards, offering excellent facilities, spacious consulting and surgical areas, and the equipment needed to work cases up to a high standard locally. With an established and growing client base, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a thriving practice while continuing to build your expertise and clinical confidence.
This is a part-time role working 20-40 hours per week, including 1 in 5 Saturdays. There are no on-call or out-of-hours requirements, supporting a healthy work/life balance.
We are looking for a vet who is confident with routine medical and surgical cases and comfortable with sole charge responsibilities when required.
Conveniently located in central Paisley, the practice is easily accessible by public transport and surrounded by a fantastic selection of cafés, restaurants, and green spaces, including Barshaw Park. Glasgow city centre is a short travel distance away, offering access to a vibrant arts, music, and cultural scene.
We take pride in celebrating diversity and creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and supported. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and circumstances.
If you think you’d be a great fit for our team and share our passion for delivering exceptional pet care, we’d love to hear from you. For an informal confidential chat, please contact Ryan at covet@vets4pets.com.
