This role can be 100% remote. The exact working days and times can be discussed and agreed upon during the interview process. Ideally, candidates should be prepared to work at least one of the more challenging days, such as Monday or Friday.
As a member of the Legal Team, you will provide high-quality legal services in the areas of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Law and Education Law.
Responsibilities include:
1. Leading in providing legal services in Special Educational Needs law.
2. Maintaining and acquiring knowledge related to Education law.
3. Undertaking advocacy and representing clients in court.
4. Representing Legal Services, clients, and external parties in meetings, including committee and member meetings, inquiries, and working groups, as well as discussions with other legal practitioners when required.
5. Contributing to the development and delivery of legal services.
6. Exhibiting behaviors aligned with the Client’s People Strategy.
7. Supporting the Principal Lawyer and Legal Services Business Partner in team management.
8. Handling sensitive issues with tact and confidentiality.
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
