Job Overview
Our friendly and growing team is ready to welcome a new team member who shares our passion for improving access and the quality of care for people with eating disorders. This post covers the South Essex service, although the postholder would be expected to travel to other areas occasionally.
We are looking for a dynamic, creative, highly motivated individual with experience working with clients suffering from eating disorders. You will receive regular supervision and will be supported to develop skills in this specialist area.
Main duties of the job
* Gate-keeping referrals into the Adult Eating Disorders Service, liaising with referrers and providing advice and support.
* Assessing, care planning, and reviewing patient care and treatment in line with EPUT CPA policies.
* Liaising with providers regarding out-of-area eating disorder placements and inpatient providers, and acting as a link for local services and carers.
* Providing evidence-based interventions for clients with Eating Disorders, using various theoretical frameworks and treatment modalities.
