Job overview
Position: Locum Consultant in Dermatology (fixed-term for 12 months)
Workload: Full time, 10 sessions per week
The successful candidate will join the existing team of consultants to provide comprehensive dermatology services, including general and skin cancer clinics, minor operations, and tele-dermatology sessions (monthly, with a patient cap). There is a rota for ward referrals and triage. Clinic sizes will adhere to guidelines from the British Association of Dermatologists. Candidates interested in developing a specialist interest, particularly in paediatric dermatology, are encouraged to apply.
Main duties of the job
As a 10 PA Consultant, the appointee will provide dermatology services, participate in clinics, minor procedures, tele-dermatology, ward referrals, and triage. Development of a specialist interest is encouraged, especially in paediatric dermatology.
