If so, TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a high-profile railway client. They are expanding their projects and are looking for multiple Rolling Stock Technicians to join their team located in the East Midlands on a contract basis. This role is paying £19 per hour (circa £40,000 per annum).
Key Accountabilities: Servicing, maintenance, repair and overhaul of traction and rolling stock components and plant equipment inspection.
Ensuring that as part of a team, your own and your teams work targets are met.
Carry out all work to agreed standards and that all work undertaken is recorded and signed off on the prescribed documentation.
Support and give guidance to all members of the team.
Fault finding on rolling stock as directed by Team Leader
Specific Experience: Qualified to NVQ Level 3 standard in a relevant mechanical/electrical (or dual-skilled) engineering or maintenance discipline (e.g. Traction and Rolling Stock) or have completed a recognised apprenticeship.
Practical experience of mechanical and electrical discipline desired.
Knowledge of ISO 9002 and ISO 14001, IMS and Safety regulations.
Competent in Depot Protection System.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 07:00 19:00 (60 hours per week)
