Role Overview
We have an exciting new role for a highly motivated, organised and efficient individual to join the UK Support Function team at MBDA’s Stevenage office, supporting the Head of Integration & System Validation. Responsibilities
* Deliver high-level administrative and business support to Senior Management and their teams within the MAV department.
* Manage complex diaries, extensive travel arrangements and expenses using company tools.
* Organise meetings, events and training days; facilitate when required, take and manage actions, and assist in creating meeting packs.
* Demonstrate accountability, integrity and resilience; work within a team, share knowledge and best practice.
* Understand and utilise MBDA systems and tools, and collaborative tools such as Skype.
* Assist projects or functional populations to optimise efficiency throughout the business.
* Develop to become the knowledge point of contact within the function; tasks may be varied and ad‑hoc.
* Support new starters (face‑to‑face and virtually) by organising equipment and delivering starter packs for smooth onboarding.
* Produce slide packs and arrange guest speakers for monthly meetings.
* Update organisational charts regularly.
* Act as a floor plate co‑coordinator, managing door access and desk space/moves.
* Work effectively with the other BSO to ensure consistency and open communication (knowledge of OneNote is an advantage).
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in a similar business/admin support role; managing complex diaries, organising meetings, events and travel arrangements.
* Capability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Forward‑thinking, looking to improve efficiencies in working practices and processes.
* Strong interest in MBDA’s activities and understanding of how MBDA works and the role’s impact on the company/department.
* Professional approach with a positive attitude; ability to multitask, be proactive and thrive in a varied role.
* Team player who prides themselves on the team’s success with a genuine can‑do attitude.
* Professional demeanour in all situations and ability to withhold confidential information.
* Willingness to learn and extend responsibilities beyond the job description.
* Excellent communication and engagement skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Hands‑on proficiency with collaboration tools (e.g., Skype, OneNote).

Salary & Working Conditions
Salary: Circa £28,000 depending on experience.
Location: Stevenage (relocation package may be available).
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2‑3 days per week on site.
Security Clearance: British citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship; restrictions/limitations may apply. After offer stage, successful candidates must undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).
