Responsibilities
* Sing out of tune and dance like no one is watching.
* Read endless stories.
* Go outdoors whatever the weather.
* Give lots of cuddles.
* Get involved in messy play and be prepared to get covered in all sorts.
* Form good relationships with the children and their parents/carers.
* Be a good role model for the children.
* Get stuck in, use initiative and work as part of a team.
* Be constantly learning on the job.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 or above (qualification preferred but not essential).
* Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
* Hold current paediatric first aid (preferred but not essential).
* Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.
* Good knowledge of the statutory framework as stated by OFSTED.
* Enhanced DBS undertaken.
If you are interested in making a new career in child care or hold no relevant qualifications but are willing to learn, full training can be provided.
