Working as aKey Account Manager for InproSeal, a Dover company, you will be responsible for increasing penetration in existing accounts as well as identification of new markets and customers for our range of custom engineered bearing protection and shaft sealing solutions that have their applications within industrial rotating equipment. You will be adept at interfacing with customers at multiple levels (technical, commercial, and management) delivering the value propositions of an engineered solution. The ideal candidate must be a result driven sales professional, with a record of achievement, who is able to demonstrate initiative and ownership of business goals.

What You Will Bring

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar
2. A minimum of three (3) years' experience in sales of highly engineering products required
3. Experienced in sales of products or services for rotating equipment and turbomachinery applications such as pumps, compressors, turbines, or reciprocating compressor components
4. Ability to travel regularly internationally within Europe is required
5. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain long term customer relationships which culminate in the goal of reaching "Trusted Advisor" status
6. Must be a confident and technically astute self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills coupled with the ability to manage a consultative sales process.
8. Experience in an environment of continuous improvement that includes the use of tools such as process analysis, Kaizen, and Lean techniques
9. Demonstrated ability to inspire and develop collaboration amongst cross-functional teams

What You Will Do

10. Develop broad and deep relationships with customers' management, procurement, and engineering staffs to advance the company's value proposition and share of wallet
11. Move customer relationships forward to increase engagement across the organisation
12. Move to position as value provider rather than commodity supplier and where appropriate, drive to achieve "Trusted Advisor" status
13. Understand and align to the market drivers and strategy of major customers, while also providing feedback to the management team that will help inform the company strategies for growth
14. Provide regular and insightful customer and market feedback to the management team for business and market planning
15. Ensure the company is first positioned to capture new design opportunities
16. Oversee the development of conceptual solutions by the engineering team and lead the presentation of proposals to customer personnel.
17. Maintain an understanding of competitive landscape and position and implement the appropriate pricing strategies
18. Regularly acquire and submit forecasting information based on customer business indicators and planning

Work Arrangement :Remote

Salary Range : £55,000.00 - £70,000.00
