What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support the development of stakeholder communications, engagement, and consultation strategies for major infrastructure projects. Your work will help ensure that diverse stakeholder groups—including local communities—understand our clients’ proposals and have their voices heard. Our clients include government departments, local authorities, National Highways, water companies, ports, and HS2. Your contributions will help shape projects that deliver long-term economic and social benefits, ensuring that stakeholder insights inform better design and development outcomes.
* Inclusive engagement: Support the creation and delivery of stakeholder and community engagement strategies.
* Clear communication: Help communicate complex infrastructure proposals in accessible, meaningful ways.
* Feedback integration: Ensure stakeholder feedback is captured and shared with project teams to inform design.
* Cross-sector collaboration: Work with engineers, planners, and environmental specialists to align project goals with community needs.
* Social outcomes: Contribute to projects that prioritise sustainable development and long-term community benefit.
Candidate Specification
We are looking for committed and motivated graduates with a genuine passion and a desire to make a difference. To be eligible, you will have:
* Less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements).
* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one, in one of the following disciplines: English, History, Politics, Communications.
Demonstrate genuine interest in the opportunity and in joining Mott MacDonald by highlighting relevant experience or interests (modules studied, previous work experience, or research about the company, values, and projects).
