Responsibilities
* Provide direct care to members by supporting and promoting their independence, choice, dignity, and overall well‑being, in alignment with each member’s Personal Care Plan.
* Assist with washing, showering, bathing and dressing.
* Promote continence and also assist with toileting, mobility, food and fluid intake.
* Use of moving and handling equipment, wheelchairs and any specific mobility aid required by a member.
* Provide ongoing support for the members, their families and support the Nursing team.
Skills & Qualifications
A broad knowledge of the care sector and an understanding of dementia.
