We’re looking for an experienced Quality Lead to own and drive our Integrated Management System (IMS) across manufacturing and field operations. The successful candidate will ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while building a proactive, right-first-time culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role covering factory, field engineering, and compliance portals (e.g. SafeContractor/Avetta).
Key Responsibilities
* Own ISO 9001 QMS/IMS: governance, audits, documentation control, CAPA, and management review
* Drive quality standards & process control across manufacturing and field engineering
* Lead root cause analysis & corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues
* Manage supplier quality & incoming inspection standards
* Ensure audit readiness (internal, customer, certification, and portal compliance)
* Oversee calibration & measurement systems (factory + field)
* Support NPI, change control, and validation activities (APQP/PPAP)
* Define and maintain training, competence & authorisation frameworks
* Lead and develop the site quality team and cross-functional quality culture
What the Ideal Candidate will Bring
* 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing quality leadership
* Strong background in ISO 9001 (IATF 16949 desirable)
* Expertise in SPC, PFMEA, control plans, CAPA, and process capability (Cp/Cpk)
* Proven success improving defect rates, audit performance, and customer quality metrics
* Experience with audits (customer, supplier, certification)
* Exposure to field/service quality systems (preferred)
