School Clerk (Level 3) - Cwmbach Community Primary School
Salary: Grade 6 (25,979 x 83.09%)
Hours: 35 Hours per week - Term Time Only
Required for: November 2024
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in Cwmbach Community Primary School, a thriving school community in Aberdare. The Governing Body of Cwmbach Community Primary School is seeking to appoint a School Clerk to work in a caring school with a strong nurturing ethos. The clerk will be responsible for attendance, pupil administration, general financial administration, and other administrative school office tasks.
The successful candidate will:
1. Have a positive relationship with staff, pupils, and parents
2. Be IT competent with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook, and Excel
3. Have experience and sound knowledge of working with SIMS Modules and systems
4. Have the ability to use ICT for word processing, spreadsheets, and data management
5. Have an awareness of school financial procedures
6. Demonstrate excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
7. Work as part of a team and also act on their own initiative
8. Be able to use a range of reprographic equipment
9. Be able to prioritise and work to deadlines
10. Demonstrate excellent organisational skills
11. Have an awareness of the importance of confidentiality and data protection
12. Have a working knowledge of attendance procedures
