Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established company providing high-end garden maintenance and landscaping solutions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a dedicated and proactive Garden Maintenance & Aftercare Head Gardener/Team Leader to join their team.

About the Role:
As the Garden Maintenance & Aftercare Head Gardener/Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of gardeners, ensuring the highest standards of garden maintenance and aftercare. You will train and mentor team members, work closely with clients, and contribute to the development and enhancement of beautiful outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and train a team of gardeners, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Perform expert garden maintenance, including lawns, hedges, irrigation, terraces, pathways, and borders.
• Shape, prune, and train various plants, from delicate perennials to orchard trees.
• Develop landscapes by adding new planting, refreshing borders, and implementing specialist techniques.
• Work closely with clients to help them understand and appreciate their outdoor spaces.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Proven experience in garden maintenance or horticulture.
• Strong plant knowledge and understanding of garden care techniques.
• A Level 2 (or higher) qualification in Horticulture.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude.
Desirable:
• PA1/PA6 spraying licence.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems.
• Machinery certifications.
