The Role
We are seeking an experienced Area Cleaning Supervisor to join our management team and oversee cleaning operations across designated client sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining the highest cleaning standards while developing and supporting our cleaning teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership:
Supervise and motivate cleaning staff across multiple client sites
* Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleaning standards meet client expectations
* Training & Development:
Provide ongoing training and support to cleaning operatives
* Client Relations:
Act as primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing concerns and maintaining satisfaction
* Health & Safety:
Ensure all H&S protocols are followed and maintain compliance records
* Scheduling:
Coordinate cleaning schedules and cover arrangements across your area
* Reporting:
Provide regular updates to the Regional Manager on performance metrics and client feedback
* Cover:
carryout basic cleaning tasks and cover sites where required
* Problem Resolution:
Address operational issues quickly and effectively
* Resource Management:
Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment needs
Essential Requirements
* Previous supervisory experience in commercial cleaning or facilities management
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle
* Flexibility to work varied hours including early mornings and evenings
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and H&S procedures
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Professional appearance and reliable attendance
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience with commercial cleaning contracts
* Basic IT skills for reporting and communication
* Previous experience in the Liverpool area
