YOUR ROLE
Join us as a Learning & Development Manager! Following a successful internal promotion, we're seeking a dynamic professional to develop and deliver a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Your goal will be to foster continuous professional development, equipping colleagues with the knowledge and skills needed to excel and reach their full potential. You will manage and measure effective training programs to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Enjoy flexible working hours! Our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Initially, you'll be based on-site for six months to build relationships, then transition to a hybrid model of three days in the office and two days remote.
* Lead the L&D team by setting performance expectations and supporting the development of team members' goals.
* Manage L&D advisors/instructors, supporting HR matters and adhering to KN HR policies.
* Oversee training programs to ensure they meet business needs and incorporate the latest methods.
* Ensure employees acquire the necessary skills, knowledge, and motivation to perform tasks successfully.
* Identify training needs through job analysis, appraisals, and consultations with managers and HR.
* Collaborate with QSHE Managers to ensure consistent QSHE activities.
* Recommend suitable training methods based on needs analysis.
* Understand and manage training requirements for MHE operations within the workplace.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
* Proven strategic experience in Operational Learning & Development.
* Experience in managing/delivering training for MHE equipment (not essential but advantageous).
* Strong people management skills, with experience leading teams both onsite and remotely.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills at a senior level.
* Experience in developing high-quality training materials is a plus.
