A highly reputable, growing accountancy firm based in Swindon is looking to appoint a Audit and Accounts Senior Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned auditor with strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.\n\nThis role offers a clear pathway to achieving Responsible Individual (RI) status and progression to Directorship within the firm.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and manage a portfolio of audit and accounts assignments, including clients in the Charity and Not-For-Profit sectors, as well as corporate entities, groups, partnerships, and sole traders.\nOversee audit engagements from planning through to completion, including review and client delivery.\nReview financial statements and files ahead of RI sign-off.\nManage, support, and mentor junior team members.\nReview and prepare draft corporation and business tax computations with supporting analysis.\nAct as the key point of contact for clients, providing advice and resolving queries efficiently.\nSupport senior leadership with ad-hoc project work.\nWork towards becoming an RI and taking full responsibility for your own client portfolio. \n\nAbout You\n\nACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience with significant practice background).\nMinimum 6 years of practice experience, including audit management.\nStrong knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards.\nConfident managing audits from start to finish with excellent technical competence.\nCommercially aware with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.\nExcellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working with charity and not-for-profit clients is highly desirable, or a willingness to develop in this sector.\nKnowledge of CCH and MyWorkPapers is beneficial but not essential.
