We are currently recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the Wirral.
With demand continuing to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Early Years practitioners who are passionate about supporting children during the most important stages of their development.
The Role
1. Supporting children within Nursery and Reception classes
2. Assisting with play-based learning and classroom activities
3. Supporting children’s social, emotional and educational development
4. Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
5. Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
What We’re Looking For
6. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Early Years qualification (essential)
7. Experience working within an EYFS setting
8. Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework
9. A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Specification
Teaching, Learning or Classroom Assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools.
We specialise in recruiting Teaching Assistants (TA) who are qualified in the following;
16. NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
17. NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
18. Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
19. CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
20. BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing).
We’ll also consider experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
30. Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
31. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
32. Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
33. Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
34. Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
