Job Overview
Meridian is looking for an electrical tester to work in a laboratory in Daresbury, Warrington. Electrical testers carry out testing & inspections across all electrical installations throughout the laboratory and office fit‑outs.
Responsibilities
* Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
* Identify and document defects, non‑compliances, and potential safety hazards.
* Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a valid JIB card accompanied with 2391 or 2394/2395.
Calibrated testing kit will be provided.
Compensation & Contract
40 hours per week, Monday–Friday. £27.00 per hour CIS (Alternative PAYE rates available). On‑going contract with 12 months+ duration available.
