The Revenue & Insight Manager plays a pivotal role in unlocking profitable growth across our pub estate. This role blends commercial strategy, revenue optimisation, and insight‑led decision making to create a step‑change in how we understand customers, price our offering, and drive sustained margin improvement.
You will shape the revenue agenda, build powerful insight capabilities, and partner with senior leaders to influence decisions that matter—from pricing and promotions to portfolio strategy and performance improvement. This is a high‑impact role for a commercial thinker who thrives on turning complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
What You’ll Lead & Deliver
Revenue Strategy & Optimisation
* Develop commercially astute revenue strategies that improve margin, drive spend per guest, and strengthen competitive positioning.
* Identify pricing, promotion, bundling, and mix opportunities across segments and formats, grounded in market dynamics and guest value perception.
* Build robust forecasting tools and scenario models to support strategic decision‑making and future planning.
Insight & Market Intelligence
* Create a coherent insight view of performance—bringing together customer behaviour, revenue trends, competitor intelligence, and economic context.
* Translate fragmented data into compelling narratives that shape strategy and influence investment decisions.
* Monitor external market shifts, competitor behaviour, and category trends to identify opportunities and early warning signals.
Commercial Partnership & Influence
* Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance and the broader Commercial team to align revenue levers with guest needs and brand strategy.
* Build credible, insight‑driven recommendations for senior stakeholders—balancing analytical rigour with commercial pragmatism.
* Support transformation initiatives that elevate data literacy, decision making, and performance measurement across the business.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
* Evaluate the success of revenue strategies using clear, evidence‑based measures; recommend enhancements and test‑and‑learn approaches.
* Champion better use of data, tools, and forecasting methodologies—modernising how the organisation understands and acts on insights.
* Introduce innovative analytical approaches that sharpen our competitive edge and help teams move from reactive to proactive ways of working.
What You’ll Bring
Must‑Haves
* Proven analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract the “so what” that drives action.
* Strong understanding of revenue management principles and commercial levers across pricing, promotions, and mix.
* Proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel, SQL or similar platforms.
* Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—able to translate insight into clear business recommendations.
* Ability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑moving commercial environment.
Nice‑to‑Haves
* Experience with advanced analytics, BI platforms, or predictive modelling techniques.
* Background in insights, market research, pricing or competitive intelligence.
* Knowledge of the pubs, hospitality, retail, or multi‑site consumer sector.
