Salary: Approximately £56,000, based on your skills and experience.
Your Mission:
As a Senior Project Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering customer-focused Project Finance support. Your expertise will help our Business Unit effectively and profitably manage customer projects by taking ownership of all financial aspects throughout the project life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide best-in-class financial planning, analysis, and insights to drive growth and deliver superior performance.
* Implement consistent Project Finance processes and foster a culture of performance excellence.
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project financial performance, producing forecasts for informed decision-making.
* Support a data-driven culture by digitizing workflows and implementing digital project management tools.
* Utilize dashboards to enhance insights, improve performance, and maintain data integrity.
Your Skills and Experience:
Essential:
* Proven experience in Project Finance with a strong grasp of financial forecasting and reporting.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide, influence, and present effectively.
* Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP), including IFRS15 revenue recognition criteria.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Experience with MRPs or ERPs (e.g., SAP, Infor LN, Oracle) and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP BPC / SAC, Cognos, Tableau).
Desirable:
* A recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
