Project Support Engineer: Providing support to the Services Team
We are looking for a Project Support Engineer to be the main interface between Score Group and their clients.
The Project Support Engineer will be responsible for the quoting, processing, and control of all assigned Sales Enquiries and Orders within their department. All work shall be carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures and work instructions.
Reporting to the account manager the project support engineer will be the first point of contact for all clients.
Primary responsibilities
1. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
2. Check stock for Valve solutions to satisfy client requirements
3. Produce price and delivery to issue to Market Place to satisfy Client requirements
4. Complete Technical and Commercial review of supplier quotations to ensure compliance with Client requirements and specifications
5. Produce Sales Quotations to Client for all Valve, Actuator, and Spares requirements
6. Manage all Quotations Quoted Awaiting Authorisation through to conversion or closure
7. Complete Contract Review for new supply activities
8. Produce Purchase Requisition for procurement of Valve, Actuator, and Spares to satisfy new supply activities
9. Produce Picklist and issue work instruction to Production for new supply activities
10. Co-ordination and interface function for all aspects of the Score organisation to ensure all materials are delivered in a timely manner
11. Checking and ensuring the accuracy of status reporting as per clients requirements
12. Technical assistance and resolution of QA goods in and goods out issues in a timely manner
13. Provide technical support to the customer for valve and actuator related issues
14. Correspond and communicate professionally with both internal and external clients
15. Update and utilise company systems – electronic and paper based
16. Contribute to the training and development of Contract Support Trainees
17. Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business
Qualifications
18. HNC or equivalent preferred but not essential
Experience
19. Experience in a Sales or Engineering environment (valve industry preferred but not essential)
20. Experience in a customer facing role

22. Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience in stakeholder management
23. Sound organisational skills and structured working methods
