Payroll Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Payroll Team Leader to join our team at Swissport GB. The successful candidate will lead a team of three payroll professionals, overseeing the end-to-end payroll process. This is a hybrid role, providing the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site.
Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of three payroll specialists, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative team environment.Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination within the payroll team.
2. Payroll Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for Swissport GB, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.Utilize ADP and Kronos systems for efficient and precise payroll processing.
3. Experience with ADP/Kronos: Possess hands-on experience with ADP and Kronos systems.Leverage this expertise to optimize payroll processes and troubleshoot any system-related issues.
4. Sickness Absence Management: Demonstrate a strong understanding of sickness absence policies and procedures.Utilize 9/12 months of experience in processing sickness absences to ensure accurate and timely management.
5. Compliance: Stay abreast of local payroll regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Work closely with HR and Finance teams to address any compliance concerns.
6. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular payroll reports for management review.Conduct analysis on payroll data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvement.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the payroll function.Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications

8. Proven experience as a Payroll Team Leader or similar role.
9. ADP and Kronos experience is preferred.
10. 9/12 months of experience in processing sickness absences.
11. Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
12. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
13. Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
14. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
15. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
