We’re seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with a strong background in Microsoft technologies and Windows environments to join one of our clients here in Cambridge – they are an interesting start up with a huge backing and bright future. Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage, maintain, and support Windows Server environments
2. Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and related Microsoft technologies
3. Provide 2nd/3rd line support for system issues, troubleshooting, and escalations
4. Monitor system performance, implement updates, and carry out patch management
5. Support Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange environments
6. Assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and project delivery
7. Ensure system security and compliance best practices are followed
Skills & Experience Required:
8. Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
9. Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Exchange/Office 365
10. Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) desirable
11. Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices
12. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
