A prominent grounds maintenance contractor, is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team. As part of theirprehensive services, they specialise in grounds management, arboriculture, landscaping, estate management, vegetation control, woodland management, plant relocation, winter services, and sports facility management. You will be required to work in social housing, universities and local authorities.
Your new role
The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver effective grounds maintenance services. The successful candidate should have expertise in garden maintenance and a solid understanding of the machinery used for various tasks in grounds maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience in day-to-day responsibilities will include; strimming, grass cutting, hedge cutting,
2. Litter picking, spraying, weeding etc
3. You must have experience using large equipment and powered tools such as hedge cutters and lawn mowers.
4. Beneficial but not essential to have PA1 and PA6 spraying qualifications.
5. UK driving licence is required and towing a licence is beneficial.
What you'll get in return
6. Full-time - Approx to Monday to Friday.
7. Salary is £ to £ per hour.
8. Initial 3-month contract, potential for extension.
