Are you a passionate and creative Teacher of Art and Design with a specialism in photography? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our thriving Art department in a creative and inclusive secondary school in Kensington. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in September 2025.

About the Role:
* Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on photography.
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
* Guide and support students in developing their photography skills, including composition, lighting, and editing techniques.
* Encourage students to explore different photographic genres and styles, fostering their creativity and artistic expression.
* Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
* Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Art and Design curriculum remains relevant and challenging.
* Foster a love of Art and photography in students, encouraging them to explore different art forms and develop their own artistic voice.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in Art and photography education.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS or equivalent.
* Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Art and Design, with a specialism in photography.
* Demonstrates a passion for teaching Art and photography and a commitment to student success.
* Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum for Art and Design.
* Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
