Reed Education is proud to be working in partnership with a Wakefield based Secondary Schoolto recruit an exceptional Inclusion Manager to lead and develop their internal Inclusion Resource Base. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils by promoting positive behaviour strategies and ensuring every child has access to an appropriate and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage the Behaviour Inclusion Resource Base as part of the Behaviour for Learning strategy.
* Champion inclusive practices and lead on behaviour-related interventions.
* Reduce fixed and permanent exclusions through targeted support and mentoring.
* Liaise with pastoral staff, SENCo, and external partners to ensure tailored provision for pupils.
* Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
* Supervise pupils in a safe and secure learning environment, including during lunch periods.
* Produce data-driven reports and contribute to pupil reviews and assessments.
Person Specification -
Essential:
* Strong literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths).
* Experience working with young people in educational or similar settings.
* Proven ability to support pupils with behavioural needs and track their progress.
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and team leadership skills.
* Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices.
Desirable:
* Experience working with SEND pupils.
* Leadership of community projects or school development initiatives.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues.
* Empathy and resilience in supporting pupils and families.
