Rotational Specialist Pharmacist Band 7

We are delighted to offer multiple opportunities for Rotational Specialist Pharmacists. We welcome applications from all sectors who have been registered for over a year.
This role will involve rotating around specialist areas such as Women’s and Children, Surgery and Critical Care and potentially an education/clinical lecturer rotation linked with the University of Brighton. The successful candidates will support the Lead and Specialist Pharmacists within these areas to provide patient‑centred care and lead on projects that support the directorate to achieve clinical, pharmaceutical or financial targets. Progression and development are key priorities for our department and this role is designed to support career progression from post‑registration Foundation training through to Advanced Level Practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with consultants, medical staff, midwives, nurses, pharmacy teams and other healthcare professionals to provide clinical pharmacy services to the specialist area.
* Support the dispensary as needed and be part of the wider clinical pharmacy team.
* Deliver staff education and development as a Practice Supervisor for trainee pharmacists, pharmacy undergraduates, and rotational clinical pharmacists.
* Participate in the department’s weekend and on‑call service on a rota basis after completing an orientation and induction period.
