Job Title – Patient Advisor
Location – Sheffield, Meadowhall
Hours – 40 hours (must be flexible to work weekends)
Salary – from £27, per annum, bonus & benefits, full training will be given

It’s our Optical Advisor’s role to make our patients feel comfortable and relaxed whilst providing a 5-star service. Our Optical Advisor’s should enjoy meeting new people and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with both patients and ophthalmic professionals alike.
Your day to day responsibilities may vary however a typical day will involve the following duties:
10. Building relationships with patients and ensuring regular communication prior to and following their treatment
11. Assisting in patient consultations / practice visits
12. Undertaking diagnostic scans on patients using state of the art equipment as part of a full health check
13. Assisting patients to complete health & lifestyle questionnaires
14. Introducing patients to their optometrist
15. Scheduling treatment dates for vision correction surgery
16. Advising on traditional vision correction solutions, namely glasses and contact lenses
17. Discussing finance options
18. Accurately maintaining patient records
The successful candidate will:
19. Be driven and passionate with a willingness to succeed
20. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
21. Be able to demonstrate strong negotiation skills
22. Be self-motivated to work with and without supervision
23. Have previous experience working towards sales targets and personal KPI’s
24. Possess strong organisational skills
25. Be commercially aware whilst providing world-class customer service
