Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in welding techniques and possess a strong mechanical knowledge. This role involves working with various materials, including sheet metal, and requires the ability to assemble and fabricate components to meet precise specifications. As a Tig Welder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.
Responsibilities
* Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
* Assemble and fabricate components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete welding tasks.
* Conduct inspections of welds and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
* Document work performed and maintain accurate records of production activities.
Skills
* Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, with experience in stick welding being advantageous.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Experience working with sheet metal, including fabrication and assembly processes.
* Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
* Attention to detail, ensuring precision in all welding tasks.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
