Are you an ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? We're recruiting a
Finance Assistant
on behalf of a global business based in Henfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple finance functions while working towards your AAT, CIMA, or ACCA qualification.
What you'll be doing:
* Processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking transactions
* Posting journals and supporting month-end closing activities
* Assisting with payroll reviews and working alongside outsourced partners
* Reconciling credit cards, balance sheets, and P&L accounts
* Supporting VAT filings and other finance compliance activities
* Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and cost centre analysis
* Supporting external audits and wider finance projects as needed
Who we're looking for:
* Previous experience in a finance role, ideally covering transactional duties and reconciliations
* Strong Excel and IT skills
* Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach
* Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, and capable of working independently or in a team
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Currently studying or interested in studying AAT, CIMA, or ACCA
